Aaron Ramsey, who played midfield for Arsenal, has taken on a new managerial position. Following the dismissal of manager Omer Riza, the Welshman has been given the responsibility of trying to salvage Cardiff City from relegation. You may remember that after Good Friday’s 2-0 loss to Sheffield United, Cardiff fired Riza.
The outcome knocks the Bluebirds down to 23rd place in the Sky Bet Championship, leaving them one point outside of safety.
This is to inform you that Omer Riza has been relieved of his duties as first team manager, as stated by Cardiff City FC.
“Starting with Monday’s home match against Oxford United, Aaron Ramsey will take charge of the team for the next three games in the Sky Bet Championship season.” Monday’s match versus Oxford United is Cardiff’s next scheduled game.
