Al-Hilal reverses course, raises offer to Osimhen

In an effort to expedite the agreement-making process, Al-Hilal have decided to change their minds and strengthen their offers for Victor Osimhen and Napoli. Football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano revealed this in a Friday post on his X account.

Galatasaray have reportedly been making strong moves to sign the Nigeria international on a permanent transfer in the past 24 hours as well, according to Romano.

He continued by saying that Al-Hilal had made a better offer, one that includes a greater salary for Osimhen and around €70 million for Napoli.

This follows reports that the Saudi Arabian club pulled out of the bidding for the 26-year-old owing to his exorbitant transfer fee, which occurred only hours ago. Reportedly, Osimhen was seeking a weekly salary of £500,000—a sum that Al-Hilal was unwilling to meet.

It is widely believed that the 26-year-old will permanently depart Napoli this summer, with Al-Hilal and Galatasaray already engaged in a bidding war to acquire his services.
