Alhaji Kawu Baraje, a former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has described governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as “tenants” in government houses, claiming the ruling party has lost Nigerians’ trust ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He made the statement while dealing with journalists at Dutse International Airport on his trip to Azare, Bauchi State.
Baraje stated that the PDP had survived internal issues and was now better positioned to reclaim power in states now ruled by the APC. He claims that internal splits within the opposition party contributed significantly to the APC’s prior electoral victories.
“You see, the APC people are occupying
