As a first signing, Alonso wants Real Madrid to get a player from Chelsea

Dean Huijsen is a target for Chelsea, and Xabi Alonso has allegedly pushed Real Madrid to sign him during the summer transfer season. After Carlo Ancelotti’s tenure as Real Madrid manager concludes, Alonso will likely take over.

The Spanish player will be departing Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the current season, as he revealed on Friday.

But talkSPORT claims that once Alonso officially takes over at the Santiago Bernabéu, he will be pressing for Real Madrid to sign Huijsen. He thinks the center back has great potential and would be an excellent addition to his team.

Reportedly, Huijsen is prepared to move on to the next level in his career, having just been with Bournemouth for a year.

Chelsea is supposedly in talks with Bournemouth about a possible transfer for him, and he has also drawn interest from Chelsea.

Real Madrid has joined the fray, and Chelsea has stated their aim to trigger Huijsen’s release clause. Prior to the June start of the FIFA Club World Cup, both clubs are eager to complete the transaction.

If Huijsen were to leave Bournemouth, they would receive a return of more than 300 percent thanks to a £50 million release clause in his contract. After spending £12.5 million with Juventus last summer, the 20-year-old made the move to Bournemouth.
