It has been announced by Bayelsa Queens head coach Whyte Ogbonda that the club will be adding players to the roster for the forthcoming campaign.
The current winners of the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) have added two ambitious forwards, Mary Lucky and Janet Akekoromowei, to their roster. Ogbonda was overjoyed with the addition of the new players to the club.
Coach Ogbonda said of the new recruits, “I’m very pleased with the quality of players we’ve brought in so far.”.
“We can’t wait to bring on Janet Akekoromowei and Lucky Mary, two aggressive players who have shown they can compete at the best level. The 2019–20 CAF Women’s Champions League will be a tournament that Bayelsa Queens take part in.
