Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has presented N50m to Super Falcons winger, Francisca Ordega, according to Naijatrial. Alia also awarded Ordega a fully furnished three-bedroom bungalow located in Makurdi.
This reward recognizes the Al-Ittihad Ladies star’s significant contributions to the Super Falcons’ triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco.
The Super Falcons achieved a remarkable 10th title at this competition. Although Ordega only played once during the tournament due to an injury, her impact was still felt.
At 31 years old, she has celebrated five WAFCON titles with the Super Falcons. The winger has made 26 appearances for Nigeria, scoring seven goals in total.
