According to reports, one vigilante member was killed and another was injured when suspected Boko Haram militants raided their camp in Dapchi, the headquarters of Bursari Local Government Area in Yobe State.
According to numerous sources, the attack occurred at 9:30 p.m. yesterday.
A Dapchi local, who requested anonymity, stated, “The suspected terrorists specifically targeted the vigilante camp.” “They stormed the camp, killed one vigilante, and injured another.”
According to him, the suspected terrorists also took a vigilante group vehicle and torched another after it failed to start.
A communication was sent to the Yobe State Command’s Police Public Relations Officer about the event, but no response was received as of the time of filing this report.

Recall that Dapchi, the headquarters of Yobe State’s Bursari Local Government Area, received international attention in 2018 when Boko Haram extremists kidnapped 110 schoolgirls from the Government Science and Technical College.
