The Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, has admitted that even if he hadn’t been singing, he would still be working in show business.
If the artist hadn’t been a vocalist, he said, he would have been an industry behind-the-scenes worker. He also said that he would have thought about it if he had been an actor.
“I studied business marketing, so I would have still been in the entertainment space [if I wasn’t singing], probably more behind the scenes,” Davido revealed in a recent chat with content creator Darryl.
This year, I will be putting money into two movies. Much obliged to Dammy Twitch, my director. We are working on a variety of ideas. At this very moment, Africa’s film industry is bankrupt. We shall, therefore, make use of that.
“I have acting chops as well. Seriously, I can act. In the music videos I make, I play the lead. I have roles in music videos such as “Jowo” and “Nwa Baby.”
