The president of Fenerbahçe, Ali Koç, was informed by football analyst Gürcan Bilgiç that keeping José Mourinho on the team was a major error.
Bilgiç claims that Fenerbahçe and Mourinho should part ways since the Portuguese coach was unsuccessful in winning the Turkish Süper Lig last season. Keep in mind that Galatasaray won the Turkish Süper Lig, while Mourinho’s squad ended in second position.
Nonetheless, according to Bilgiç, Galatasaray will still have a good chance of winning the Turkish domestic crown in the upcoming 2025/26 season.

Next season, Galatasaray will once again be considered the favourite. The continued failure of Mourinho is dependent on Ali Koç’s willingness to spend heavily. Reason being: Galatasaray is still lagging behind with the available material.
The likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea, United, Porto, Inter Milan, and Tottenham Hotspur are among the elite European clubs that Mourinho has coached in the past.
