More presidential and governorship candidates emerge from the Labour Party

Candidates vying for political positions have swamped the Labour Party’s National Headquarters in their efforts to fulfil the deadline.

Notable candidates that obtained forms on Tuesday include Peter Agada, who received the Presidential Nomination Form, and Gazo Jonathan Gbefwi, who is running for Governor of Nasarawa State.

Prince Chioma Chinwo, a Rivers State gubernatorial candidate, is also a contender.

Philip Agbese is running for the Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwe Federal Constituency seat in Benue State.

Maj. Kenneth Obiabo Ehoche is running for the Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency seat in Benue State, and Ishaya Timothy Yohanna is running for the Yola North/Yola South/Girei Federal Constituency seat.

Labour Party spokesperson Ken Eluma Asogwa previously claimed that hordes of aspirants lining up at the party’s National Secretariat to obtain nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.

Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, the former First Lady of Ondo State and candidate for the Imo East Senatorial District, was among those who received their forms on Tuesday, according to Asogwa.
