Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the suspended senator from Kogi Central, has denied the accusations leveled by Sandra Duru, who accused Godswill Akpabio of sexual harassment.
Natasha was implicated after Duru, a prominent American activist and media figure, made damning evidence public.
Amid growing controversy surrounding Natasha’s latest accusations against Akpabio, the live stream, which lasted one hour and eight minutes, took place.
The accusation against Akpabio was that he made sexual advances at Natasha when her husband was around. The lawmaker’s incapacity to present proof led to her suspension for six months following the allegations.
On Thursday night, Duru went live on Facebook and showed call logs and WhatsApp exchanges, accusing Natasha of trying to incriminate Akpabio in a scheme to frame him for organ harvesting and sexual harassment. But Natasha said Duru was spreading lies.
“I have carefully watched a livestream which was done by one Sandra C Duru on Facebook, on May 1st, 2025,” Natasha stated in a statement that she personally approved.
Everything said during the livestream, even the voice effect that was supposed to be mine, is completely false and was probably staged so Sandra Duru could play the part of Senator Godswill Akpabio.
As far as I am aware, the accusations leveled against Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, Dr. Abiola, FIDA, and fellow Nigerians, characterized as “Gullible and Hungry,” are completely unfounded and did not arise from any genuine interaction with me.
“Recent research has also shown me that the individual presently going by Sandra Duru’s name was the one who ran a, s Professor Mgbeke’s Facebook page. I will address the baseless accusations contained therein as soon as possible.”
