The Nigeria National League (NNL) has mandated a simultaneous start time for all Group C and D matches on Matchday 17.
On Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m., the northern centers will host the penultimate games of the 2024-25 season.
According to Danlami Alanana, COO of the NNL, the decision is made to make sure that matches are fair and not rigged as the regular season comes to a close.
“We want equal opportunity for clubs to progress in transparency and trust in the League,” Alanana noted in his letter to the teams, explaining that they are in the closing stage of talks.
Final Group C matches include Mighty Jets vs. Barau FC, Wikki Tourists vs. Zamfara United, and Jigawa Golden Stars vs. Sokoto United.
Kada Warriors will host Adamawa United, Yobe Desert Stars will play Basira FC, while Sporting Supreme will host Kebbi United in Group D. Each group will have two clubs that advance to the NNL Super Eight.
