Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen scored with a header in the 65th minute, contributing to his team’s 3-1 victory against Rizespor on Saturday.
The match kicked off with an early goal from Davinson Sánchez, who headed in a corner taken by Gabriel Sara in the 20th minute.
Rizespor managed to equalize just before halftime with a goal from Dal Varesanovic, but it was ruled out for offside after a VAR check.
In the second half, Osimhen’s goal reinstated Galatasaray’s control of the match, and Mauro Icardi capped off the win with a goal in stoppage time at the 92nd minute, assisted by Barış Alper Yılmaz.
This victory marked Galatasaray’s fourth straight win of the season, keeping their perfect record in the Süper Lig with 12 points. Osimhen’s goal was his second of the season, following his earlier strike in a 4-0 victory over Kayserispor.
