Wilfred Ndidi, a midfielder for Leicester City, is reportedly being courted by Real Betis of Spain for a summer transfer.
Following Leicester City’s relegation from the Premier League last season, Ndidi is widely believed to be departing the club this summer. The 28-year-old’s three-year deal, which he inked last summer, has a €7 million release clause.
Diario de Sevilla reports that Real Betis has contacted the player to enquire about his availability.
The LaLiga side is seeking to strengthen their midfield for the upcoming season after losing to Chelsea in last year’s UEFA Europa Conference League final.
They think Ndidi would be a perfect match for their play style. After playing for KRC Genk in Belgium’s Pro League in 2017, the Nigerian international joined Leicester City.
