On Sunday, unidentified gunmen suspected of being bandits struck the Ariko hamlet in Kachia Local Government Area, Kaduna State.
During the Easter celebrations, the gunmen reportedly attacked two Christian worship centers, murdering at least seven people and kidnapping dozens more.
According to reports, the attack caused widespread terror in the community.
Worship sites in Kaduna State have recently been attacked by bandits, resulting in the deaths of worshippers and the abduction of others.
When reached, the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mansir Hassan, stated that he will provide additional information on the terrible incident.
