Tinubu is taking significant measures to ensure Nigeria’s safety – Lagos APC

The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) announced on Friday that Nigeria is making substantial, historic strides to enhance security and restore national stability in light of increasing insecurity.

Mogaji Seye Oladejo, the spokesperson for the APC, stated that Tinubu has declared a State of Emergency on Security, a courageous action that demonstrates a firm stance against terror, sabotage, and criminal activities.

In a signed statement, Oladejo highlighted that the president’s endorsement for the hiring of an additional 20,000 police officers, which raises the total new recruits under his administration to an impressive 50,000 personnel, reflects his commitment to securing Nigeria.

He pointed out that this current recruitment initiative represents the largest expansion of security forces in recent times. Oladejo remarked that recent events indicate that Tinubu is indeed taking decisive measures.

He stated: “In contrast to the empty rhetoric of those posing as statesmen, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is implementing concrete, historic actions to secure Nigeria and restore national stability.

“He has declared a State of Emergency on Security – a bold and unprecedented action that indicates a zero tolerance policy towards terror, sabotage, and criminality.

“He has sanctioned the recruitment of an additional 20,000 police officers, which brings the total new intake under his administration to an extraordinary 50,000 personnel – marking the largest security expansion in recent history.

“These are not superficial gestures. These are strategic, impactful actions from a President who is determined not to yield any part of Nigerian territory to terrorists or their political backers.

“While the opposition spreads fear, President Tinubu is enhancing capacity. While they complain abroad, he is fortifying Nigeria at home.
