The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has declared that oil and petrol prices will shortly fall.
Trump predicted that costs would fall following the Middle East war involving Iran.
Trump told reporters on Friday that he “prefers” not to resume large-scale strikes on Iran and is still talking.
When asked if he is considering additional strikes on Iran, Trump replied, “Why would I tell you that?”
He asserted that the US blockade of Iranian ports was “unbelievable” and “powerful,” and that even if the fight ended immediately, the US would have accomplished a “great victory.”
“If we left right now, it would take them 20 years to build back that country,” Trump remarked.
He anticipated that the price of oil and gas would “come tumbling down” following the war.
Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the new Iranian proposal, adding that he is unsure whether “we’re going to get to a deal” to stop the war.
