According to Arsenal great Ian Wright, Marcus Rashford is being linked to a move to Newcastle United. Wright agrees, saying that the forward for Manchester United on loan at Aston Villa had “no chance” of ever playing for United again. After an impressive loan spell, Rashford’s time at Villa Park will come to an end in June.
Rashford has a permanent transfer option worth about £40 million to Villa, but the club is under no obligation to make the move. It’s the kind of signing Newcastle should be making,” Wright remarked on his Ringer FC podcast.
That seems just fantastic. I wouldn’t recommend that. Should Rashford play for Newcastle? Yeah. That sounds fantastic. That is perfect for Rashford, in my opinion.
Rashford is a threat when playing for Newcastle. Wright responded with a “No” when asked if Rashford could return to United at this time. Definitely not.
