Following a long period of disappointment, Harry Kane was able to lift a trophy on Saturday. Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga title with a win over Borussia Mönchengladbach, and the England captain scored a goal.
In a sensational debut season in Germany, Kane scored 24 league goals and was pivotal to Bayern’s title run. In the 31st minute of the 2-0 win, he scored his 25th goal of the season. Club great Thomas Müller said his sad goodbyes at the match as well.
After more than 20 years on the field and 12 Bundesliga championships, Müller played in his last home game at the Allianz Arena.
Last Sunday, Bayern officially won the title with a 2-2 draw against defending champions Bayer Leverkusen in Freiburg. But at halftime, in front of their home fans, they were given the Bundesliga shield.
