JAMB will release its second round of results on Saturday

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the second set of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, or UTME, would be released before midnight on Saturday.

JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, confirmed this in a post on his official X feed, assuring candidates who took the exam on Friday, April 17, that their results would be accessible later that day.

“The results of the UTME conducted on Friday, 17 April 2026, will be released before midnight today,” Benjamin said.

He said that an official announcement will be issued as soon as the findings were released, and that updates would be shared on his social media site.

The most recent release follows JAMB’s earlier announcement of results for applicants who took the exam on Thursday, when 632,788 candidates were able to view their scores.

The 2026 UTME, which began countrywide on Thursday, is expected to draw more than two million candidates from approved computer-based test centers around the country.
