The 2024–25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) wasn’t a good experience for Enyimba, the club has acknowledged. The People’s Elephant came in at number six overall.
The CAF Champions League was another tournament that Enyimba made it to the group stage. The giants of Aba did not go past the group stage.
Nigeria were able to hold on to their two CAF Champions League slots because to Enyimba’s play on the continent.
According to Ifeanyi Ekwueme, the sports director of Enyimba, “Last season wasn’t quite a pleasant one for us”(Completesports).
“Our goal was not achieved. However, we give thanks to God since we made it to the CAF Champions League group stage and finished third, securing two berths for Nigeria in the continental tournaments.
