The head of the anti-corruption movement, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has urged Christians to reevaluate their commitment to the principles taught by Easter and the lessons of the EFCC.
This was included in the Easter message from the EFCC chairman, which was released on Saturday, April 19, by the Head of the Commission for Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale.
According to Olukoyede, the Easter season represents the significance of rebirth and restoration, which are necessary for fortifying ourselves against immoral activities.
According to him, Christians can experience rebirth, restoration, and rejuvenation throughout the Easter season. During this holiday season, may we be reminded of the paramount need of honesty, openness, and higher principles for the progress of our country.
The head of the EFCC emphasized the need of Christian principles for nation-building and long-term prosperity, calling attention to Jesus Christ’s atoning sacrifice for humanity.
In order to rebuild our nation, we must all recommit ourselves fully and make sacrifices, no matter how difficult they may be. He urged that every Nigerian, regardless of their status or creed, should do it.
In his opinion, President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda “resonates deeply with the Christian beliefs of resurrection and revival,” and he praised it. Our unwavering trust in Nigeria must not waver. In our relentless pursuit of progress and change, we must become stronger by the day.
Olukoyede reassured Nigerians that their government will remain resolute in its fight against corruption and urged all parties involved to remain steadfast and unwavering in their efforts. Now that we’ve got our hands on the plough, there’s no turning back,” he declared.
