Daniel Anidugbe, better known by his stage name Kizz Daniel, is a prominent Afrobeats artist. He has recently reclaimed the masters of his first album, New Era, from his previous company, G-Worldwide.
The musician made the announcement on Monday on his X Twitter, and he also disclosed that he had recovered the masters to his popular songs Yeba and Sofa. According to Kizz, the accomplishment is more meaningful than words can convey.
He eventually owned every song on the 2016 ‘New Era album’ + Yeba & Sofa (singles) after many meditations and late hours in the studio, he wrote.
Now I have my master’s degree. Words fail to capture the depth of this significance. My sincere appreciation for your company on this journey. Thankful for the New Era and My Catalogue.
On May 14, 2016, Kizz Daniel’s first album, New Era, was published under his previous record company, G-Worldwide.
He left G-Worldwide in November 2017 and started his own record label, Flyboy I.N.C., shortly after. His ex-label boss, Emperor Geezy, sued him, but the court found him not guilty. Upon his announcement in 2023, Kizz Daniel named Emperor Geezy CEO of his Flyboy I.N.C. imprint.
