In Wednesday night’s first leg of their Champions League semi-final match, Inter Milan held Barcelona to a 3-3 tie.
The Serie A team scored twice in the opening minutes of the game. In the first half, Marcus Thuram scored, and Denzel Dumfries added a second goal with an incredible overhead kick.
However, Lamine Yamal managed to pull one back, and just before halftime, Ferran Torres slipped past Inter’s defense to score an equalizer.
Dumfries’ header from a corner kick gave Simeone Inzaghi’s team the lead once again. After that, Raphinha’s long-range shot hit Yann Sommer and went in, tying the score once again.
To determine who advances to this year’s final, the two sides will meet again in Tuesday’s second leg at the San Siro.
