Johansen: Norway will be prepared for the Flying Eagles challenge in 2025 U-20 World Cup

The 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup draw has been commented upon by Norway’s head coach, Bjorn Johansen, according to the Naijatrial.

Group F includes two-time champions Nigeria, Colombia, and Saudi Arabia, where the Norwegians will be playing.

Johansen stated that playing the Flying Eagles will give his squad a chance to show what they’re capable of against a different opponent. He was also cognisant of Aliyu Zubairu’s side’s superior physical ability.

“We had hoped to avoid certain teams, but now we have the opportunity to test ourselves against opponents we haven’t faced often—especially Nigeria, who bring a lot of power and strength,” Johansen said after the draw. Chile will play home to the event from September 27th until October 19th, 2025.
