Governor Adeleke encourages Christians to share God’s love

The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has called on Christians in the region to keep spreading God’s love throughout the Christmas season.

He stated that the birth of Jesus Christ represents God’s love for humanity and should motivate compassion and unity among the community.

This message was shared in a Christmas statement released on Thursday by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed.

Governor Adeleke emphasized that the holiday season reminds us of the significance of being thankful to God and appreciating life and the blessings we share.

“This season invites us to reflect on the blessings we have received and to extend kindness to those around us,” the statement mentioned.

He characterized Christmas as a time for family gatherings, community celebrations, and the rekindling of hope, urging residents to embrace the spirit of giving and togetherness.

Looking back on the past year, the governor recognized both the challenges faced and the successes achieved in the state.

“Over the past year, we have encountered difficulties and celebrated victories together. Throughout it all, the resilience and faith of the people of Osun have continued to inspire me,” he remarked.

Governor Adeleke also expressed his gratitude to God and the citizens of the state for their unwavering support and prayers.

“I am thankful to God for the gift of life and for the honor of leading this wonderful state. Our collective efforts are laying the groundwork for prosperity and peace,” he stated.

The governor encouraged residents to keep the less fortunate in mind during the celebrations by showing acts of generosity.

“As we celebrate this season, let us remember those who are less privileged among us. We should promote love and support for our neighbors and even strangers,” he concluded.
