Well-known rapper, Odumodublvck, has asserted that Lagos is not the best environment for young artists to cultivate their careers.
The music star from Abuja expressed that Lagos is a self-centered city, cautioning that artists who develop there might turn into greedy, selfish, and self-absorbed individuals.
Odumodublvck mentioned that his upbringing as an artist from Abuja provided him with an advantage in the Nigerian music scene.
On his X account, he posted, “The worst place for a young artist to grow is Lagos. It’s the most selfish place to grow.
“You will become like them; a greedy, selfish, and self-centered packaged beast. That’s why it was easy for me to navigate the industry as The Machine that I am. I’m too real for you all.
