The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has come up with a significant strategy to clean up the FCT’s transportation system and deal with “one chance” offenders.
When the current construction of bus terminals is finished, Wike indicated that there will be a chance that the FCT’s transit system would be cleaned and that criminals will be checked.
During his inspection of the two bus terminal projects and the access road to the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal in the Dakibiyu region of Abuja, he made this disclosure.
Contracts for the development of bus terminals at Kugbo, Central Area, and Mabushi were given in 2024 by the FCT Administration, which was led by Wike.
Nevertheless, the Minister characterized the projects as essential infrastructure that will enhance the capital city’s transportation system during the inspection.

Wike reassured the people of the FCT that the government led by Bola Tinubu will build them the world-class facilities they need to live comfortably.
In addition, he was overjoyed that Tinubu was funding such essential transportation improvements. Providing this kind of infrastructure makes us pleased.
