Vote for our candidates – NDC

Next year’s general elections will feature candidates from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), according to the party.

Ikenna Enekweizu, the party’s national secretary, made this promise on Friday during an interview with Channels Television’s Politics Today.

He was discussing the struggles within the party over registration.

In case you forgot, on Friday, a Federal High Court in Lokoja, Kogi State, overturned its own ruling that had ordered INEC to officially recognise the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as a political party.

On the ballot in 2027, you will see all of our candidates, and we will be victorious. Next year is still six months away.

Allow me to share something with you. It’s interesting how this whole thing turned out. Earlier today, we were supposed to receive the codes that will allow us to begin uploading applicants.

The verdict was announced right in the middle of the day, and we were expected to pick up the codes at INEC today.

You have my word that we will be able to decipher those codes, even if I believe they were planned and orchestrated to prevent us from doing so. After we submit our choices, we will take part in the voting process.

Nobody should be afraid for our candidates or their supporters. We will prevail in the polls because the current state of affairs in Nigeria has exhausted the patience of the Nigerian people. “We are sick and tired of the government’s ineptitude, insecurity, failures, and heartlessness; it’s destroying our country,” he declared.
