Omega Fire Ministries’ General Overseer, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has spoken out against Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote in response to a string of tragic accidents involving trucks owned by Dangote’s firms.
The cleric’s tantrum is in response to the recent tragedy in Auchi, Edo State, where three individuals lost their lives in an accident involving a Dangote vehicle.
He said that Dangote’s business was endangering innocent lives by delegating the operation of heavy-duty vehicles to young people who were neither trained nor sober. To vent his anger, Suleman went to Instagram and attacked Dangote by name.
You are not alone among the world’s wealthy, @Alikodangote. Families have been harmed and many parents have become childless as a result of your careless management of your company. In Auchi, your truck only minutes ago killed three people. You let drugged-out, unskilled youths drive trucks. He warned that this would face opposition.
The well-known social media activist VeryDarkMan has also spoken out, expressing his disgust at the event involving the Dangote trucks in Auchi, Edo State.
Noting the problem of illegal drivers operating the vehicle, he levelled accusations of carelessness against the Dangote Group.
The activist went on to urge the government to enforce regulations on truck drivers, saying that towns in Edo State and others that have seen similar accidents may think twice about letting Dangote trucks operate in their areas unless serious measures are made.
According to Naijatrial, Ruth Otabor, Phyna’s younger sister, was critically injured in a crash in Auchi, Edo State, and had to have her leg amputated. The accident was caused by a Dangote truck.
In her pursuit of justice for her sister, the former reality TV star accused the corporation of attempting to conceal information of the incident.
