Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke, two Nigerian imports who competed for Spain in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, have returned to their club Sevilla.
When the Super Eagles competed in Morocco, Akor and Ejuke were on the team that placed third.
On Saturday, the two played a role in Nigeria’s third-place match against Egypt’s Pharaohs.
“Welcome back, Akor and Chidi! Our Super Eagles have landed!” reads a brief statement on the club’s X account.
With two goals and an assist, Akor started every one of Nigeria’s seven matches in the tournament.
Éric Chelle’s squad only used Ejuke twice throughout the tournament.
