ECWA President, Bagat encourages Nigerians to maintain their hope

The President of the Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA, Rev. Job Ayuba Bagat, has expressed his gratitude to God for preserving Nigeria as a united nation, despite the economic difficulties, insecurity, political instability, social unrest, and moral decline that marked 2025.

In his Christmas message to the nation, Bagat stated, “As we celebrate Christmas, let us remember that Christ is still found by those who seek Him sincerely, not in noise or material abundance, but in humility, obedience, holiness, and love.”

He thanked the Almighty Father for keeping the country united in the face of significant challenges, noting that he has witnessed the hand of protection, provision, and unity in Nigeria.

As the nation approaches the year 2026, he urged all Nigerians to enhance their spiritual vigilance and faithfulness to thwart the plans of those intending harm in the country, trusting that the Almighty Father will safeguard and guide the leaders along the path of righteousness to ensure the nation’s prosperity.

He remarked that as families grapple with increasing living costs, young people face uncertainty, and communities yearn for peace and justice, the Church must shine brighter than ever, emphasizing that the Church is called to be a beacon of hope, a community that diligently seeks God and remains spiritually alert.

He urged Nigerians, “Let us not lose heart. The same God who has sustained us thus far will lead us onward. The darkness of our times cannot extinguish the light of Christ shining through His Church.
