The aides were involved in different incidents, such as aiding the bail of infamous drug lord Sulaiman Danwawu and misappropriating palliative grains intended for the public.
This information was shared in a statement released by the Press Secretary to the State Government, Musa Tanko, on Saturday in Kano.
Sharada, who served as the Senior Special Assistant on Political Mobilisation, was accused of orchestrating the bail for the drug lord. He has been instructed to return all government assets in his possession by August 11, 2025.
Roba, the Senior Special Assistant in the Cabinet Office, was apprehended for repackaging palliative grains at a warehouse in Sharada in 2024.
He is currently facing charges of theft and criminal conspiracy and has been ordered to return all government property, including his ID card, by August 11, 2025.
Both aides have been warned against presenting themselves as public officials under the current administration.
“Through this statement, the public is advised not to engage with the two dismissed political appointees regarding any matters related to the Kano state government; anyone who does so does so at their own risk,” the statement concluded.
In another development, the state government cleared Musa Tsamiya, Special Adviser on Drainages, of all allegations following an investigation that confirmed his innocence.
The government reiterated its strong commitment to discipline, transparency, and a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption, urging all public officials to maintain the highest standards of integrity in both their professional and personal lives.
