Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, has spoken out about the reports of discord inside the team after their Champions League elimination. Relevo claims that the Los Blancos locker room is becoming more and more suspicious of Ancelotti.
Additionally, after their 2-1 loss to Arsenal in the Champions League quarterfinals, some players allegedly went to club president Florentino Perez to express their displeasure with the Italian coach’s methods.
On Saturday, though, Ancelotti addressed the media and adamantly stated that those who “aren’t telling the truth” about a discord are lying.
“I have spoken with the club and the players,” he declared. We understand each other. We’re in pain. You can’t always come out on top in football, and these kinds of things do happen.
“Our thoughts are same. The fact that we’re usually on the same side has prevented any conflicts with the club “No one is being truthful when they say they had an argument with the president.”
It seems quite probable that the 65-year-old would go from the club this summer if Ancelotti’s squad does not maintain the LaLiga title or win the Copa del Rey.
